RIO: Hunting and Fishing Pledge

Welcome to our Protecting Our Indigenous Ways of Life Pledge, which is a pledge to protect our hunting and fishing rights for future generations. Many threats are in policymakers' hands and can affect our ways of life. These policymakers hold seats within many governing bodies, such as the North Pacific Fishery Management Council, Board of Game, Board of Fish, and many more. This pledge aims to grow in numbers, build community, gain support, and take action to ensure Alaska Native voices and cultures are being protected and heard. 

The first step is making our presence known. We need to be involved in the processes that take place in these entities, and our voice needs to be heard.

By signing our pledge, you are taking a stand for action and protecting future generations. You are signing up to reinforce prevention and management solutions that align with our values and ways of life and protect hunting and fishing rights for future generations.
